Abstract
Inflammation is a critical physiological response involved in host defense and tissue repair, but chronic or dysregulated inflammation contributes to the pathogenesis of various diseases, including arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Recent advances in anti-inflammatory drug research have led to the discovery of novel therapeutic targets, improved drug delivery systems, and the development of biologics and small molecule inhibitors. This article reviews the latest progress in anti-inflammatory drug development, including mechanisms of action, emerging therapies, and their potential clinical applications.
