Abstract
Precision medicine has revolutionized the field of pharmacology by enabling highly individualized treatment strategies. By leveraging genomic, phenotypic, and environmental data, precision medicine allows for the tailoring of drug therapies to the specific characteristics of individual patients, improving both efficacy and safety. This paper explores current trends in precision medicine within pharmacology, focusing on pharmacogenomics, biomarker discovery, and personalized drug development. We also discuss the future directions of precision medicine, including the challenges of integrating artificial intelligence and big data, ethical considerations, and the potential for global application. Finally, the paper highlights key areas where pharmacological research can further evolve to meet the growing demand for personalized therapies.
