1. Submission Policy
The American Journal of Pharmaceutics welcomes original research and review articles in pharmaceutical sciences. Submitted manuscripts must be unpublished and not under evaluation elsewhere. Authors are required to follow journal instructions and ethical standards. All papers must be submitted through the official online system. Submissions that do not meet basic quality requirements may be declined.
2. Peer Review Policy
The journal uses a double-blind review system to ensure impartial assessment. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent specialists. Reviewers focus on scientific quality, originality, and clarity. Authors may be asked to revise their work. The final decision is taken by the Editor-in-Chief.
3. Publication Ethics Policy
The journal follows internationally accepted ethical publishing principles and COPE recommendations. All contributors must act with integrity and responsibility. Plagiarism, data manipulation, multiple submissions, and unethical authorship are prohibited. Conflicts of interest must be declared. Serious misconduct may result in rejection or withdrawal.
4. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin and iThenticate. Authors are responsible for originality and proper referencing.
Similarity assessment guidelines:
- Up to 10%: Acceptable
- 11% – 20%: Minor corrections required
- 21% – 30%: Major revisions required
- Above 30%: Rejected
Confirmed plagiarism may lead to article retraction.
5. Open Access Policy
The journal operates under a full open-access model. All published articles are freely available without payment or registration. Readers may read, download, and share content. This policy supports global access to pharmaceutical research. No restrictions are applied.
6. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors retain ownership of their published work. By submitting manuscripts, authors grant the journal permission to publish and distribute articles. All content is released under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). Proper acknowledgment is required for reuse.
7. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
Manuscripts may be withdrawn before completion of the review process. Withdrawal after acceptance is permitted only in exceptional situations. Articles may be retracted for plagiarism, ethical violations, or major errors. Retraction notices remain publicly available. All cases are handled transparently.
8. Archiving and Preservation Policy
The journal ensures long-term storage of published content through OJS archiving, digital repositories, and scheduled backups. These systems protect data security and availability. All articles remain accessible for future reference. Preservation practices follow international standards.
