Abstract

Chronic pain is a widespread and debilitating condition that affects millions globally. The management of chronic pain remains a significant clinical challenge due to the limitations of current pharmacological treatments, which often present adverse effects and tolerance issues. Recent innovations in drug formulations have shown promise in improving pain management efficacy while reducing side effects. This article reviews the latest advancements in chronic pain drug formulations, including controlled-release systems, nanomedicine, and targeted drug delivery techniques. Emphasis is placed on how these innovations can optimize pain relief and enhance patient compliance.
