Abstract
Clinical trials are pivotal in the pharmaceutical development process, serving as the bridge between laboratory research and clinical application. This article examines current trends and challenges in clinical trials, emphasizing the impact of technological advancements, regulatory complexities, and patient-centric approaches. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI), real-world data (RWD), and adaptive trial designs are reshaping trial methodologies. However, issues such as recruitment difficulties, ethical considerations, and high attrition rates persist. Addressing these challenges requires innovative strategies and collaborative efforts across the healthcare ecosystem.
