1. Submission Policy
The American Journal of Instrumentation and Control Engineering publishes original and review articles in control systems, automation, and instrumentation. Submitted manuscripts must be unpublished and not submitted elsewhere. Authors must follow journal guidelines and ethical standards. All papers are submitted through the official online system. Submissions not meeting academic requirements may be rejected.
2. Peer Review Policy
The journal follows a double-blind peer review system to ensure impartial evaluation. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two subject specialists. Reviewers assess originality, technical accuracy, and relevance. Authors may be requested to revise their work. Final decisions are taken by the Editor-in-Chief.
3. Publication Ethics Policy
The journal follows recognized ethical publishing standards and COPE guidelines. Authors, reviewers, and editors must act with honesty and responsibility. Plagiarism, falsification of data, duplicate submission, and unethical authorship are prohibited. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Violations may result in rejection or retraction.
4. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are examined using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin and iThenticate. Authors are responsible for originality and proper referencing.
Similarity guidelines:
- Up to 10%: Acceptable
- 11% – 20%: Minor revision required
- 21% – 30%: Major revision required
- Above 30%: Rejected
Serious plagiarism cases may lead to article retraction.
5. Open Access Policy
The journal operates under a full open-access model. All published articles are freely available without subscription or registration. Readers may access, download, and share content. This policy supports worldwide research dissemination. No access barriers are applied.
6. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors retain copyright of their work. By submitting manuscripts, authors allow the journal to publish and distribute their articles. All content is released under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). Proper citation is required. Both academic and commercial reuse is permitted.
7. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
Authors may request withdrawal before peer review is completed. Withdrawal after acceptance is allowed only in exceptional cases. Articles may be retracted for plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or major technical errors. Retraction notices remain publicly available. All cases are handled transparently.
8. Archiving and Preservation Policy
The journal ensures long-term preservation through OJS archiving, digital repositories, and regular backups. These systems protect content integrity and accessibility. Published articles remain available for future reference. Preservation practices follow international standards.
