1. Submission Policy
The American Journal of Signal and Image Processing accepts high-quality original and review papers in signal and image processing. Submitted work must be unpublished and not submitted elsewhere. Authors are required to follow journal guidelines and ethical standards. All manuscripts must be submitted through the official online platform. Papers failing to meet basic requirements may be declined.
2. Peer Review Policy
The journal applies a double-blind review system to ensure impartial evaluation. Each manuscript is examined by qualified reviewers in relevant fields. Reviewers focus on research quality, originality, and clarity. Authors may be requested to revise their work. Final approval is given by the Editor-in-Chief.
3. Publication Ethics Policy
The journal follows internationally recognized ethical standards. All participants in the publication process must act responsibly and honestly. Plagiarism, data manipulation, multiple submissions, and unethical authorship are not permitted. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Violations may result in rejection or withdrawal.
4. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection systems such as Turnitin and iThenticate. Authors must ensure proper referencing and originality. Similarity up to 10% is acceptable, 11%–20% requires minor correction, 21%–30% requires major revision, and above 30% is rejected. Serious cases may lead to retraction.
5. Open Access Policy
The journal provides free and unrestricted access to all published articles. Readers can view, download, and share content without payment. This approach supports knowledge exchange and global research visibility. No subscription is required for access.
6. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors keep the copyright of their published work. By submitting their manuscript, authors allow the journal to publish and distribute the article. All content is released under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). Proper acknowledgment is required for reuse.
7. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
Manuscripts may be withdrawn before the review process is completed. Withdrawal after acceptance is allowed only under special circumstances. Published articles may be retracted in cases of plagiarism, ethical violations, or major errors. Retraction notices remain publicly available.
8. Archiving and Preservation Policy
The journal ensures long-term storage of published content through digital repositories, OJS archiving, and regular backups. These systems protect data integrity and availability. All articles remain accessible for future reference.
