1. Submission Policy

The American Journal of Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering publishes original research articles, review papers, and technical studies related to aerospace and aeronautical engineering. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors must submit manuscripts through the official online submission system and follow the journal’s formatting and ethical guidelines. Submissions not meeting basic academic standards may be rejected at the initial screening stage.

2. Peer Review Policy

The journal follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial and objective evaluation. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in relevant aerospace fields. Reviewers assess originality, technical quality, methodological soundness, and clarity. The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

3. Publication Ethics Policy

The American Journal of Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to act with honesty and transparency. Practices such as plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission, and improper authorship are strictly prohibited. The journal follows the ethical principles recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

4. Plagiarism Policy

The American Journal of Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering maintains a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using advanced similarity detection software such as Turnitin and iThenticate. Authors are required to ensure the originality of their work and proper citation of all sources.

Submissions found to have significant similarity to other works may be rejected or returned for revision according to the following criteria:

  • Up to 10% similarity: Acceptable
  • 11% – 20% similarity: Minor revisions required
  • 21% – 30% similarity: Major revisions required
  • Above 30% similarity: Rejected

If plagiarism is detected after publication, appropriate corrective actions, including retraction, will be taken.

5. Open Access Policy

The American Journal of Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering is an open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online without subscription or access fees. This policy supports global knowledge sharing and unrestricted access to scientific research.

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article. All articles are published under a Creative Commons License (CC BY), allowing reuse with proper attribution.

 

7. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before completion of peer review by submitting a written request. Withdrawal after acceptance or publication is allowed only in exceptional cases. The journal may retract published articles in cases of ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or major technical errors. Retraction notices remain permanently available.

8. Archiving and Preservation Policy

The journal ensures long-term preservation of published articles through reliable digital archiving systems and institutional repositories. This guarantees permanent accessibility, integrity, and discoverability of scholarly content.
