Abstract
Industry 5.0 represents a new era in manufacturing, where the focus shifts from automation to collaboration between humans and machines. While Industry 4.0 is characterized by intelligent automation and data-driven manufacturing, Industry 5.0 emphasizes human-centric production systems, where human workers collaborate with advanced robots, AI, and other technologies to enhance creativity, efficiency, and flexibility. This article explores the potential of Industry 5.0, highlighting the role of collaborative robots (cobots), AI-driven decision-making, and human-machine interaction in the future of production. We discuss the benefits, challenges, and opportunities of human-centric systems and their implications for the future of manufacturing.
