Abstract
Simulation techniques have become indispensable tools in the design, optimization, and operation of industrial manufacturing systems. These techniques allow manufacturers to model complex systems, analyze different scenarios, and make informed decisions regarding system performance, resource allocation, and process optimization. This article explores the applications of simulation techniques, such as discrete-event simulation (DES), system dynamics, and agent-based modeling (ABM), in manufacturing environments. We examine how simulation can be applied to various aspects of industrial manufacturing, including production planning, resource management, quality control, and supply chain optimization. The article also discusses the challenges and benefits of implementing simulation techniques in real-world manufacturing systems.
