Abstract
The integration of power electronics in modern electric grids has revolutionized the efficiency and reliability of electrical power systems. This article explores optimal control strategies for power electronics devices such as converters, inverters, and voltage regulators, and their critical role in enhancing grid stability, energy quality, and efficiency. By analyzing various techniques, including model predictive control (MPC), adaptive control, and artificial intelligence (AI)-based methods, this paper provides an in-depth understanding of their impact on grid performance. Furthermore, it outlines the potential future challenges and innovations in power electronic control for smart grid integration.
