Abstract

Against the dual backdrop of digital transformation in education and the pursuit of enhanced quality and efficiency in medical education, the deep integration of AI technology with curriculum-based political and ideological education has become a core direction for medical teaching reform. Anatomy, as a foundational core course in medical education, faces challenges such as limited specimen resources, inefficient practical guidance, rigid integration of political and ideological education, and fragmentation of teaching and research data. This paper takes the "Bone Insight Micro – An Integrated Teaching and Research Platform for Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Based on Multimodal Perception" at Sains College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, as a practical vehicle to explore the pathways and methods for integrating AI-empowered teaching reform in medical anatomy with curriculum-based political and ideological education. By constructing an AI teaching assistant system based on multimodal perception, integrating core technologies such as computer vision, deep learning, and natural language processing, a new anatomy teaching model characterized by "visualized real-time interaction, full-scenario integration of political and ideological education, and synergy between teaching and research" is created. This achieves an organic unity of technology empowering teaching, political and ideological education cultivating talent, and research feeding back into teaching. The research results indicate that the application of AI technology effectively enhances the efficiency and quality of anatomy teaching, and the deep integration of curriculum-based political and ideological education strengthens the professional competence and humanistic spirit of medical students, providing replicable and promotable practical experience for the teaching reform and integration of political and ideological education in basic medical courses at traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities.
