Abstract
The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and fifth-generation (5G) wireless technology is transforming digital ecosystems by enabling ultra-fast, low-latency, and massive machine-type communication. This paper explores how 5G enhances IoT infrastructure, unlocking new potentials across smart cities, autonomous systems, remote healthcare, and industrial automation. By analyzing architectural synergies, performance metrics, and real-world implementations, the study illustrates the profound impact of this intersection on global connectivity and operational intelligence.
