Abstract
Microwave engineering plays a pivotal role in the development and performance enhancement of advanced radar systems, which are essential for a wide range of applications, including military defense, weather monitoring, air traffic control, and autonomous navigation. The ability to generate, transmit, and receive high-frequency microwave signals enables radar systems to detect and track objects with high resolution and accuracy. This article explores the role of microwave engineering in radar system design, focusing on key components such as radar antennas, wave propagation, signal processing, and the latest advancements in radar technologies. The article also discusses the challenges and future directions in the integration of microwave engineering into advanced radar systems
